Samples and Tools

The samples/ directory covers both end-user scenarios and repository-internal utilities.

UI samples

  • UnoSvgSkiaSample: standalone Uno Platform sample for Svg.Controls.Skia.Uno, including Path, Source, SvgSource, runtime CSS changes, hit testing, zoom/pan, and wireframe/filter toggles.
  • MauiSvgSkiaSample: standalone .NET MAUI sample for Svg.Controls.Skia.Maui, including Path, Source, SvgSource, runtime CSS changes, hit testing, zoom/pan, and wireframe/filter toggles.
  • AvaloniaSvgSkiaSample: end-to-end sample for Avalonia.Svg.Skia, including Svg, SvgImage, SvgSource, resource usage, and draw-control integration.
  • AvaloniaSvgSkiaStylingSample: CSS-based restyling and pointer-over behavior.
  • AvaloniaSvgSample: equivalent non-Skia Avalonia stack sample.
  • SvgML.Avalonia.Demo: inline XAML-authored SVG sample showing reusable resources, animated filter/geometry properties, and foreignObject hosted controls inside text flow and scene geometry.
  • SvgML.Maui.Demo: .NET MAUI inline SVG sample showing bound SVG properties, foreignObject hosted controls, and scene-level native controls on Android, iOS, and Mac Catalyst.
  • SvgML.Uno.Demo: Uno desktop sample showing inline XAML-authored SVG trees with direct binding, runtime CSS updates, and foreignObject hosted controls.
  • AvaloniaControlsSample: SKCanvasControl, SKBitmapControl, SKPathControl, and SKPictureControl.
  • AvaloniaSKPictureImageSample: SKPictureImage and animation examples.
  • AvalonDraw: larger sample application for SVG editing-oriented scenarios.
  • TestApp: extra Avalonia test host with animation-backend selection, playback-rate control, play, pause, restart, resolved-backend diagnostics, and native-composition verification.

CLI and generation samples

  • Svg.Skia.Converter: packaged conversion tool and NativeAOT notes.
  • svgc: manual SVG-to-C# generator.
  • Svg.SourceGenerator.Skia.Sample: demonstrates generated Picture classes.
  • SvgToPng: Windows sample focused on raster conversion.

Generator validation helpers

The repository also includes tests-sourcegenerators/ shell scripts that drive svgc across larger external icon suites.

Demo assets

The screenshot used on the docs home page comes from the repository's existing images/Demo.png asset and reflects the generated-code/demo workflow in this repo.
